Setting parental controls
Manage the content available for your family with parental controls. To enable parental controls, you will need to enter your password/PIN which can be found in your Welcome Letter.

1.    Select Menu >> Settings >> Preferences and press OK.
2.    You will be prompted to enter your password/PIN.
3.    You can select the rating you want to allow access without a PIN (e.g. G- General, PG – Parental Guidance, R - Restricted) or content type (e.g. V-Violence, L-Adult Language).
4.    You can also choose to block specific channels all together from your guide and searches. To do this go to Settings >> Preferences >> Channel Blocking >> click on the checkmark. You can edit the list you want to block at any time by simply selecting the edit button beside the channel(s) you want to block or unblock.
5.    Press Save and Exit to confirm your changes.

Creating TV user profiles
Creating unique user profiles, allows you to set up unique parental controls for each member of your family.

1.    Press Menu on the remote control and navigate to Settings and press OK.
2.    You will be prompted to enter your PIN.
3.    Navigate to Users and press OK.
4.    To add a user, navigate to Add and press OK.
5.    Complete the user profile information on the screen (login, password, PIN, language setting).
6.    Navigate to Submit and press OK to confirm profile changes.

On powering your STB, you will be prompted to select a user and corresponding password to log in and watch TV.
 

Note: Content ratings and descriptions are managed and provided by the provincial regulatory groups (e.g. Ontario Film Review Board or Régie du cinéma du Québec).
