Setting up power line connectors

  • If your modem is not near your TV Set Top Box (STB), you can connect your STB to your modem using the 2 Power Line Connection (PLC) adapters included in your set up kit:
    • To do this, attach one ethernet cable to your STB and then into a PLC adapter. Connect the PLC adapter into a nearby electrical wall outlet.
    • Attach the second ethernet cable directly into your modem and into second PLC. Connect the PLC into a convenient electrical wall outlet.

The two PLCs can now establish a connection between your modem and your set-top box.

  • You will need 2 PLCs to connect your primary Set Top box and an additional PLC for each additional set-top box.
  • Occasionally, you will need to resync your PLCs, especially after a long case of inactivity. For help to do this click here.

Resync your PLCs

  4. After a few seconds, the DATA light will light up on both PLCs.

Add/sync a third PLC
