To enable parental controls, there are two main steps:

•    Enable the PIN on Login option for the main user.
•    Create additional user profiles with parental controls enabled.

Enable the PIN on Login for the main user profile 

1. From the home menu select your account (this can be accessed by pressing the Left Arrow button while in the Guide)
2. Select Users, then select Edit User.
3. Entre the PIN included in your Distributel TV Welcome Letter. 
4. In the profile settings select PIN on Login and enable it.

Enable Parental Controls to a new or an existing user profile

1. From the home menu select your account and then select Users (this can be accessed by pressing the Left Arrow button while in the Guide). To create a new profile, go to Add a User Profile.
2. Select Edit User under the profile you want to manage. 
3. In the Profile Settings select Parents Controls 
4. From the Movie Rating and the TV Rating Flags enter the PIN received in your Distributel TV Welcome Letter and select the type of content you wish to block (ex. PG, NC-17, Violence etc). 

To access a program while on this profile, the user must enter their PIN. 

Note: PIN will not be required to use the profile, but it is required to make changes to this user profile.
