Initializing your voicemail account
To initialize your voicemail, you will need to do so from your Distributel Digital Home Phone account. Dial *98 followed by your PIN and the # key.
Your default PIN is your 7-digit Distributel account number*. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to create a new PIN that is easy to remember.
*If your account number is less than 7 digits, add 0’s in front of your account number until it is 7 digits.
To access your voicemail from home, dial *98 on your Distributel home phone.
You can also access your voicemail while travelling. Click here for a list of local access numbers and follow the provided instructions.
Your voicemail will save messages up to 2 minutes in length. And you can save up to a total of one hour of messages.
Once you have accessed your voicemail, select from:
- 1 - Listening to messages
- 3 - Reviewing or changing your greeting
- 4 - Managing your mailbox settings
- 1 - Rewind
- 2 - Pause/restart
- 3 - Skip forward
- 4 - Replay
- 5 - Message details
- 6 - Send a copy
- 7 - Erase
- 8 - Reply
- 9 - Save
- # - Next message/leave as new
- * - Exit
